DJ Heartbreakk & DJ D Tec v.1 - Birth of a Paradox
Random fact, I used to be super into cars and street racing. So was my cousins. My early adulthood comprised of me cruising the streets with my cousins and they would blast the music super loud. Asian Breakbeat being most of the music choice. I’ll tell you what, this album was probably perfect for such an adventure. This album is perhaps a great example of combining Asian Breakbeat with Rave. It has a lot of dark dissonance melodies in it as well as being progressive and upbeat.
As a DJ, our main job is to play great music during events. We are also in charge of transitioning songs seamlessly from track to track. I can’t tell you how much of a pet peeve it is to me when the DJ doesn’t do that. Now I understand in the Asian Breakbeat world, every album usually has these transitions. However, there are so many factors that can occur either during the exporting or sharing process. So most of these albums that I put together, the tracks won’t transition perfectly. To many, they won’t hear it and that’s fine. I’ll still release it. Saying of which, this album is the only one I’ve put together so far that has absolutely perfect transitions from track to track. So…why can’t all the albums with individual tracks turn out like this? If you have an answer, I’d love to know.
